VocabCard ("the App") is an English vocabulary learning app. We respect your privacy and are committed to transparency. This policy explains what data the App accesses and how it is handled.

Data Collection

VocabCard does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All user data stays on your device.

Data Stored on Device

The following information is stored locally on your device only:

• Learning progress (known words, quiz scores)
• App preferences (language, voice selection, theme)
• In-app purchase status (managed by Apple StoreKit)

Microphone & Speech Recognition

The App requests access to your microphone and speech recognition for pronunciation practice. This data is:

• Processed entirely on your device
• Never recorded, stored, or uploaded to any server
• Used only to provide real-time pronunciation feedback

You can deny or revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings without affecting other features of the App.

In-App Purchases

The App offers a one-time in-app purchase to unlock all vocabulary words. Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit and are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your payment information.

Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since no data is collected from any user, the App is safe for all ages.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
